It’s been a wonderfully crazy wedding season and with only a few weddings to go until we wrap up, we’re starting to think about personal photography projects for the winter. Doing our own personal work helps us reconnect with the photography ‘artist’ inside us. The artist that wants to take photos purely for their own pleasure and doesn’t have to worry about what the final outcome will look like. At the moment all we can manage is a quick snap here or there, normally on route to a wedding.
Stepping outside just now I realised how beautiful the day is and grabbed a camera to take a few snaps. Claude followed me and magically stepped in the frame as I was shooting foliage so I got to have a model for a few minutes. Over the next couple of months we hope to show the results of our personal photography projects, which don’t just include pictures of the garden and our cat!
