I love photographing our friends. Straight away we don’t have to worry about anyone being camera shy. They’re all used to us and our cameras and don’t bat an eyelid when we photograph them. Sometimes they bust crazy poses and hard-as-nails-top-model expressions. Or blue steel. Or the normal kind of silliness you get up to with your friends. They are pros around our cameras.
Tony + Renee have just moved to Brisbane so we did a mini-shoot just before they left. We’ll miss them but have no doubt they’ll do well there. Renee is a talented florist with an eye for unconventional details and Tony is the most dependable and calm guy we know. We strolled around Devonport one sunny afternoon while Tony + Renee laughed at our (not so) hilarious jokes (if you’re ever curious, ask me for my bee joke, it’s top notch!) and talked about their new life in Brisbane. We’ll hopefully be visiting you soon kids – keep the spare room ready for us!
