Getting ourselves ready for the day’s wedding in a motel…
When we stay away from home we have to be doubly prepared. For a Coromandel wedding last year I wore my jandals in the car on the way there and forgot to bring my work shoes in the car. With 20 minutes to spare before I was due to start with the bride, we had to stop off in town and find the most sensible professional-looking comfortable shoes that wouldn’t dare give me blisters. And there was absolutely NO time for procrastination. Thankfully the shoes I chose lasted me well and didn’t give me blisters but they did teach me a valuable lesson about being prepared. Double-check everything!
