If Claire + Scott’s wedding could be starred, we’d give it a 5* rating in a heartbeat. To try to sum up all the wedding goodness here just won’t do their day justice, there’s just too much to fit in. Claire first described it to us as The Great Gatsby meets Peaky Blinders 1920s mix of inspiration. Plus lots of dancing, glitter, headpieces and fabulousness (fabulousness is added in by us, because that’s exactly what it was). Add in wedding guests in 1920s outfits, talented dancing girls, a London bus, the most perfect wedding dress, the art deco Hotel DeBrett, a graffiti wall, fairy lights, the Charleston and feather boas… and you’ve got yourself one very exciting and creative wedding adventure!
Their ceremony and reception was held at the stunning Hopetoun Alpha in the city, with a wonderfully relaxed pitstop at the Birdcage Bar for some afternoon treats. One of the most magical things about weddings is how two families are brought together to create one big new family and this was even more so for Claire + Scott. We’re incredibly grateful we get to capture the love between people when new family bonds are made, it’s one of the highlights for us and something that we felt even more strongly on this day. Thank you C+S for welcoming us with open arms and allowing us to capture one of the most creative, fun and heartfelt weddings we’re been lucky enough to be part of. xx
