One extra special tropical destination wedding later… and we’re still taking in Renee + Tony’s Thai wedding adventure. What an exciting adventure it was for them and many of their guests! There will be stories to tell for years to come about the escapades everyone went through to get to the island – travel can sometimes throw us interesting curve balls! – but thankfully everyone was present and the day was a gem. The morning was spent relaxing with family and friends, swimming in the pool, soaking up the warm weather and being pampered. Now that’s one wonderful recipe for a relaxed wedding day! When people happily travel overseas to be part of the adventure, you know that the atmosphere is going to be full of love and gratitude, and you could absolutely feel it in the air.
When Renee first described her dress – a flowing blue dress with a detailed bodice – I imagined some kind of a modern-mermaid inspired creation. The excitement to see it was huge! When I first saw it hanging up amongst the palm trees, my breath was taken away. It was even more beautiful then I could have imagined and was the perfect dress for Renee. With no need for wedding shoes when you get married next to the beach (we love it when our brides go barefoot!), the ladies decorated their feet in temporary gold and silver tattoos. At the end of the evening we were entertained by a wonderful fire-show that had us all watching in amazement. The whole day was an amazing experience and with so many lovely moments throughout the day, we’re honoured and incredibly thankful to have been part of Renee & Tony’s wedding adventure. Congratulations you beautiful people! x
